Renovation and extension of the William Rappard Centre - CWR

1 -A renovation project of the existing buildings including checking that all installations and equipment comply with regulations, the replacement or refreshing of floor, wall and ceiling decorations, the optimisation of office space, the reinforcement of thermal insulation of the facade, and adding more seats to the William Rappard Room.

2 – An intra-mural extension project with the creation of a central space in the Southern courtyard which will link the main conference areas, the enclosure of the Northern courtyard with a roof will enable year-round use of this public area, a meeting room on the ground floor where the delegates’ cafeteria is currently located, and the transformation of the WTO library into conference rooms.

3 – An extra-mural extension project with the construction of a new building in the southern part of the plot to house 300 employees, General Services and a cafeteria.

4 – A peripheral protection project which aims to fulfil the protection demands of the UN for International Organisations
