Organs of the Foundation
Jointly created by the Confederation and the Canton of Geneva on the 11th December 1964, the “Foundation for Buildings for International Organisations” (FIPOI) has a Foundation Council with seats for the Confederation and the Canton of Geneva.
The Foundation is managed by a Foundation Council of six members including:
a) three members nominated by the Federal Council;
b) three members nominated by the State Council of the Canton of Geneva.
The FIPOI is divided into five entities:
1) Finance Division
2) Conference Division
3) Buildings Division
4) Construction Projects Division
5) Supporting Activities
and 2 commissions:
1) Technical Commission
2) Financial Commission
The FIPOI has about 50 employees.
